Who we are
Europe’s energy transition is being throttled by grid congestion, delaying investments, EV rollout, and residential development. The European Association for Offgrid Infrastructure & Innovation (EAOII) gives companies and public-sector entities a collective platform to turn this constraint into an opportunity. Achieving that we will have to work together, create one voice towards European policy makers and implement new technologies and innovations.
What we do

We give members a direct voice in Brussels, influencing regulation on offgrid systems, energy communities, EV charging, and congestion‑relief frameworks.

We help develop practical offgrid and hybrid solutions that allow industrial, logistics, data‑center, and real‑estate projects to move forward even where grid capacity is full.

We provide guidance for designing energy communities, offgrid zones and residential developments, connecting municipalities with technology providers and investors.
Connect the offgrid ecosystem
Through biannual conferences, working groups, and curated matchmaking, we bring together industry, DSOs, investors, innovators and public authorities to accelerate real projects.
